It’s February and Scandinavia is gloomy and grey. What better than to light up your mood with some glamour and fashion?
We turned to Copenhagen fashion week and visited a favorite designer from Spring/Summer 19, Martin Asbjørn who showed his fall/winter collection for 2019
Martin Asbjørn is true to his DNA and returns with pastels, browns, grays, leather jackets. Everything in sporty, very city chic looks – looks that don’t leave you looking like a kid. Asbjørn has a more grown up approach to the sportiness. We especially like his blend of street wear with more luxurious materials – and with silhouettes that feel more exclusive.
The lacquered brown leather jackets and print hoodies are sure favorites.
Martin Asbjørn actually has his biggest market outside of Denmark, in Asia especially. We think he deserves more attention on the home market where right now everything is about greyscales, black dark colors. Some more of Asbjørn’s sense for colors would light up many Scandinavian streets.
